Currently listening to Don't Stop Believin - Journey
Studying is tiring. Working is tiring. To live is tiring. We are all tired humans that need to go through different sort of things every day in order to succeed in our life and live the life that we want.
We'll find ourselves saying:
I'm tired.
I cried a lot, I just want to stop this.
I want to just sleep and rest and do nothing.
But guys, in order to get good rewards, we need to sacrifice our money, time, energy and tears. There's no such thing as you just laze around and magically the things that you want to appear in front of your eyes. Even prophets, the holiest people, didn't get to live that way. And us, lowly humans, want to have everything by doing nothing? No. It's not gonna happen so face it.
So people, if you're working hard now, don't stop. If you need to rest, rest and sleep for a while and you can continue your hard work the next day. If you haven't started yet, it's not too late, you can start today. Stop procrastinating, the later you start working hard, the later you'll get what you want.
Let's work hard, guys!
P/S: I'm just posting this because lately, I've been feeling unmotivated to do anything.
Lots of love,

Wait
2.22.2016
But you're the only one I've carved in my bones.
I never thought you would be the one I followed,
I never thought you'd be the kind to leave me hollow.
Wait.
Don't listen to what they say.
I don't give myself away.
But you,
You led me astray,
Then cast me away.
And I did not love you first,
But I still feel so unrehearsed.
I keep trying,
But I can't find the words.
It was you who puts these thoughts into my head
In my head.
Selfish or Self-Love?
2.19.2016
I'm curious about something. How thick is the line between selfish and self-love? How do we differentiate selfish and self-love? I think that some people nowadays (me included) do things that are seen selfish to some other people but we justify ourselves by saying that it's only self-love. I wonder, is it okay to do that? So, if you're like me who is confused about the same thing or at least a little bit curious about it, here are some articles regarding this.
1. Self Love Vs. Selfish | "When you fly, you’re told that if you’re travelling with a child, put on your own oxygen mask first. Taking care of you makes you more able to help your child. A limping person is less able to help someone who needs support. When we put the needs of others first, we’re weaker. It’s harder to support someone if you’re not supporting you? Make yourself strong first!"
2. 6 important differences between self-care and selfishness | "When someone behaves in a manner that’s self-serving, there’s an underlying malicious intent that simply isn’t present with self-care. Being selfish means there’s a desire to take from others to their detriment, whereas self-care is about replenishing your resources without depleting someone else’s."
3. 7 Ways To Know If What You Feel Is Self-Love or Selfish | "Self-love gets a bad rap because some folks often think it’s selfish. Real self-love is of service to others. But if self-love is opportunistic, greedy, inconsiderate and self-seeking, it's a false representation of real love. Don't be fooled by the inconsiderate one who puts their needs first, sacrificing everyone else."
4. The Difference Between Selfishness and Self-Love | "Think about this: Do you often feel bad saying no to a loved one? Do you say yes to things you don’t want to do? Do you worry more about what others need than you do about yourself? Do you run yourself down trying to show up for people? If so, the fear of selfishness may be blocking your expression of self-love.
My own life was saturated with the semi-conscious belief that the following actions were selfish: saying no, having boundaries, and honouring my needs and dreams when others might need something different from me."
5. What is the difference between selfishness and self-love? (not really an article but it's a long list of opinions from others) | "Loving yourself is when you create positive thoughts about yourself and those positive thoughts are also good for other people.
Being selfish is when you create negative thoughts, they are good for yourself and bad for other people.
A pure positive thought is a thought that is good for you AND good for all people in the world AND good for Nature. The ground rule of the Soul."
